The Immune Surveillance System Theory was proposed in the 1900’s and simply states that the immune system patrols the body to recognize and eliminate foreign invaders such as toxins, chemicals, bacteria, viruses or other abnormalities including cancer. The body is constantly exposed to these foreign invaders as well as producing daily, cancer cells which are immediately destroyed by the immune system as quickly as they appear.
In the case of cancer cells, it is believed that the immune surveillance system, for a number of reasons such as inflammation being out of balance or degenerated, loses its ability of surveillance and protection. The Immune Surveillance System Theory states that the immune system patrols the body to recognize and eliminate these foreign invaders. These invaders can cause the body to have a negative reaction that triggers an immune response.
It has been discovered that there are many natural compounds such as vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, nutracueticals, herbs and plants that have the ability to modulate and balance the immune system and bolster the ability of surveillance and protection.
Earth Animal recognizes these compounds and includes them in many of its products. Some of these products are cannabinoids (CBD, CBN, CBC, CBG, etc.), Regen+TM (Oligopeptides), Vitamin A, E and C, Selenium and herbs such as Echinacea, Golden seal, Astragalus and Turmeric.
