Fiber is important for a dogs and cats digestive health, while protein provides energy and keeps the immune system strong. Flax seed also contains anti-inflammatory properties to help ease symptoms of arthritis, lower blood pressure, improve kidney function, and maintain a healthy skin and coat in dogs.
