At Earth Animal, we believe that what goes around comes around, and it is our responsibility to do right by animals, people, and the Earth. This is why we donate 1% of annual net sales to organizations and causes that are making a difference in the world. In 2021, we donated more than $550,000 to causes like Farm Sanctuary, National Park Foundation, Best Friends Animal Society, and Green Wave to help them in their efforts to make the world a better place. This is just a sampling of how far our 1% promise went towards our mission of improving the lives of animals and people and being better stewards of the Earth. Supporting Non-Profits
At Farm Sanctuary, our donation aided rescue, education, and advocacy efforts to fight against the harmful effects that factory farms have on animals, our health, and the health of the Earth. We supported the National Park Foundation’s mission to preserve and maintain the natural and cultural legacy of the United States through protecting designated spaces of natural beauty, unique geological features, diverse ecosystems, and opportunities for recreation. We helped Best Friends Animal Society in their mission to “save them all.” And we supported Green Wave’s regenerative ocean farming initiatives to help improve the health of our oceans and, therefore, our world. We also made over $230,000 worth of product donations and donated more than $120,000 to efforts promoting sustainability. Furthermore, we offset 232 tons of carbon through Nori Regenerative Carbon Offsets.
Our 1% Promise knows no borders.
In 2021, our UK Team established a partnership with StreetVet, a charity whose goal is to help keep animals with their loving families, regardless of their financial or living situation. Specifically, they provide free critical veterinary care to the pets of people experiencing homelessness across the UK. We chose to partner with them because we know the benefits of a companion animal. They provide comfort, joy, affection, and companionship. And those in need should not struggle in their desire to keep them close, happy, and healthy.
Our Resolutions
We are grateful to have the opportunity to work towards a better future in this way, and our resolutions for 2022 go even further as we will continue to work for sustainable business practices with a goal of becoming B Corp Certified, reducing our corporate environmental impact, improving our industry, transitioning further to recyclable packaging, and striving to be advocates for all Earth animals by investing in projects that ensure all animals live their best possible lives.
