Our testing protocols:
We use a 24-hour in-vitro test to understand total digestibility in the stomach (6 hours) and intestine (18 hours). Gastric and intestinal juices are used to mimic the dog’s GI tract. Scores are based on degradation “digestion” of the product.
We annually benchmark our product for digestibility against rawhide and our key competitors to ensure our stringent safety guidelines are met.

I bought my dog one of these bones last night as a treat. Nothing about his diet was new except getting him this chew. Today he started getting diarrhea that progressively got worse. Now he has blood in his stool. Will absolutely never give him one of these again.

Hello Vienna, I am sorry to hear this. I hope your pup is doing better. Sometimes diarrhea can happen when giving a No-Hide for the very first time, especially if you let them eat the entire chew. The reason for this is because our No-Hides are made of really food. It is like giving your dog a new food without slowly transitioning them on to it. If you give another No-Hide to him, I recommend only letting him chew on it for a few minutes each day. You can increase the time he chews on it every 2 or three days. First off, my 65 lb. German Shorthair loves these. That’s the good news. The part that prevents me from purchasing any more of these (and I did purchase the “Medium – 40 – 69 Lbs.”), it lasted, literally, less than three minutes! At $10.50 a pop, that works out to $3.50 per minute of chew! I love my GSP, but my budget won’t support that. Your sight says they are designed for ~ 45 minutes. Yep, that just isn’t the case, here. Too bad

We have a local all-natural dog food store that we had always purchased bully sticks from, but my miniature poodle began turning his nose up at them years ago to the point he never chewed anymore. So we gave these a try after Peanut literally brought me to the bin in the store that they were located in and asked me for one.
I buy 3 at a time because Peanut instantly takes the 1st one and runs to hide it outside. That results in the chew getting lost for a while and then turning into a yucky soggy mess that I have to throw away. He keeps the 2nd one with him in the house and chews for HOURS! It’s so nice to get a break from his nonstop need for my attention lol and it definitely improves his breath. He will work on the chew until he either: a) eats it all gone b) gets all the middle filling of beef out and then leaves the remaining product which brings me to needing the 3rd chew lol! He goes thru that 2nd one so fast that a 3rd is definitely needed. He rarely finishes these after he gets the beef out of the middle so I end up throwing away the rest and start the process all over again.
The only downsides for us is that they are expensive and the price online is the same as at my local store. Also, that they can’t be left outside nor buried because they get super mushy. Lastly, my dog doesn’t finish them after he gets the tasty meat out out of the middle.
We definitely recommend the beef small bone-sized chew. Hope they come back in stock online soon !

My Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd LOVES them! She enjoys a good chew–When I give one to her, (4″) she is focused solely on it until it is gone…usually 30-45 minutes. She had developed some food aggression issues before we adopted her from the shelter, so taking it from her before it is gone isn’t really an option yet. I’ve tried the stix as a cheaper option and she had it gone in under 10 min., but seemed happy anyway. If I was rating JUST the product, I would give it a 5 (even though they can leave a small mess, I did read the label and was prepared for that!) , but I gave it the next level down due to the cost. I would love for them to be more affordable, as she would love one everyday, but I can’t afford one for her everyday. (currently looking into buying in bulk) I would also like for them to be available in more locations locally.

He stomps and gallops around like a crazy little horse if he knows I have one of these tucked away for him. I caught him burying one beneath my husband’s pillow the other night and now just gave him one and he’s burying it under his blanket on our bed. It’s the only product I’ve even seen him do this with, so it’s definitely a winner! I also wish they cost less, and that he could have one every single day. Great for our large (80 lbs) mixed breed 2 year old pup! He’s a serious chewer – most toys and treats are demolished within minutes… These no-hide beef chews are great. Takes him a good couple of hours to get through, cleans his teeth and best part, doesn’t bother his sensitive tummy!! I came across these chews while shopping on Amazon. I was skeptical about the ‘No-hide’, but the reviews were good so I tried your 7″ beef “No Hide Chew”.
My beagle, Nellie, loves these chews!
She is a very aggressive chewer and I wanted something that she would chew on and not be able to eat as she has done with other “edible” products I have tried. Before rawhide was found to be so bad; I used it for years with my dogs in the past. I used the “pressed rawhide 10″ -12″” as it really lasted a long time and they would gnaw on it for months.
I don’t know what changed with the pressed rawhide, but Nellie learned to get small & large pieces of rawhide out of them that she could swallow! I tried several brands, but all seemed to fall apart within a day! So, rawhide was out!
-Since then, I have spent a small fortune trying different types of ‘dog chews’. Nellie either eats them within minutes or won’t touch them at all (fake rubber, nylabone, Kong, “real bones” etc she won’t touch as a chew, as she thinks it’s a boring toy)
Nellie loves these No-Hide chews and really has to chew on them. She has not been able to bite pieces off, but I do have to time her & take it away or she’d never leave it!!! (as with any chew, I always supervise her )
I am happy to find that you have 11″ chews & will order that size next time.
I am very impressed with this product & have told many friends about it & even touted it on my Facebook page. Not something I normally do , but this product has impressed me that much. ( I also warn my friends to watch out for other chews that ‘look’ much like these, but are not made with healthy ingredients or in the U.S.A.)
The only thing that could improve this product, is if it came in a denser form.

Thank you for having these wonderful chews. We have struggled for a while finding chews my Golden could have that weren’t too hard to potentially ruin her teeth , lasted , and digested well if ingested. When she was younger she ingested a partial Nylabone and it was very scary for us. Lucky no surgery needed though but the irritation from it lasted for days and she was the first and only Golden we have had of 2 others that did this.
The chew also lasts her longer than any other edible chew we have given, and cleans her teeth very well. USA made too. Money well spent . Happy pup and owners . Thanks!

Today is my lucky day! Finally found a wonderful treat for my 7 month old puppy who gobbles everything. This treat actually keeps her busy for a couple of hours instead of a couple of minutes! I will not give my dog rawhide due to the possibility of blockage and the way rawhides not made in the US are tanned. These chews are longer lasting than most chew treats, are more digestible than rawhide, and my dog loves them!
