In 2015, we set the pace for digestibility testing on rawhide alternatives with our longstanding partner Dr. Tim Bowser, a food scientist and leading expert in digestibility. Dr. Bowser is now an industry leader in digestibility testing in the rawhide alternative chew space, using learnings at Earth Animal to help create safer chews at other companies. We are proud to be on the forefront of safety for animals. And, true to its reason for creation, we pride ourselves that No Hides continually offer greater digestibility over rawhide.
Our testing protocols:
We use a 24-hour in-vitro test to understand total digestibility in the stomach (6 hours) and intestine (18 hours). Gastric and intestinal juices are used to mimic the dog’s GI tract. Scores are based on degradation “digestion” of the product.
We annually benchmark our product for digestibility against rawhide and our key competitors to ensure our stringent safety guidelines are met.

My 5.5 pound chihuahuas LOVE these chews. Especially the beef flavor. They are a great size for small dogs that are not aggressive chewers. I love the chews because the dogs chew on them for days. With small dogs calories are important. A lot of other chews claim to be long lasting, but are ingested within a few minutes, adding to daily calories. The dogs chew No-Hide Stix on and off. Always having a chew available, but not adding significantly to calorie intake. Great product. I always stock up.

Our Pomeranian has been absolutely in love with your “No Hide” sticks for years. But lately the sticks have had much less actual pieces of dried pork or chicken on them and the color has become much paler. I’m wondering why, and very much hoping that the formula has not been changed. Could you please return the sticks to the original formula that was used in the past. Thank you.

My 11 pound poodle mix(?) loves these! I ended up taking it away for the night and she enjoyed it again the next day! They last a long time for little dogs! My 75pound shepherd mix also loves these! They shouldn’t last as long for a large dog but she treated it almost like a toy, she didn’t fully bite into it! I love that they are all natural and hand rolled too! Nothing better than a company who cares about ingredient quality!

Our Doodle absolutely loves these products. It is great too that the come in various meat flavours. The new packaging is also good as it makes it easy to store.
I just wish the price point could be brought down. I do not understand what is in them that would make it so expensive unless they are handmade. If that could be accomplished it would be wonderful.
